Roberta,Georgia man accused of having suspected meth lab, selling pot.

Crawford County,Georgia deputies discovered components of a methamphetamine lab Friday while arresting a Roberta man on charges of failure to pay child support, according to a sheriff's office news release.

Investigators also found a pipe, six ounces of marijuana and five grams of methamphetamine, according to the release.

The marijuana has an estimated street value of $2,900 and the methamphetamine is valued at $450.

Also seized were chemicals, a book entitled "Secrets of Methamphetamine Manufacturing" and a set of scales, according to the release.

Daniel Mark Lawrence, 45, of Georgia 341 South, has been charged with failure to pay child support, possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, according to the release.

He is being held in the Crawford County,Georgia Jail without bond.
